200 is just a number, but i’m proud and excited that Social Leadership Daily turns 200 days old today! It’s an indication that this space, this work, has become embedded within my own practice but, more importantly, it indicates that i have found a new community around this work, and that we are finding our way.
I wanted this space to be a rehearsal one: about being ‘in practice’, about taking big ideas and collapsing them down to ‘what do i do about it on a rainy Thursday afternoon?’. There is nothing grand or glamorous here: just questions, ideas, reflections, activities, and a group of people who are trying to change the hardest thing of all - themselves - within busy systems.
So 200 is just a number, but it indicates that our journey is underway: some of you have been with me from Day #1, many of you have joined on the journey. We are still a tiny community, over 400 of us, and growing a few people each day. I kind of love that: that it feels very informal, very personal, and very safe.
