Kindness

I’ve started hearing from people who are opening their houses up to Ukrainian refugees: they are not shouting about it, indeed seem almost embarrassed to admit it, but nonetheless they are taking action. One person i noticed did not have their usual Zoom background, because, they explained, their office was now a home.

In Quiet Leadership we talk about leadership in the smallest of actions. To open your home to a stranger is not a small action, but a great one, but it does happen locally.

Use your sixty seconds today as a reflection on kindness: how you experience it, how you give it, how far it travels, and why it is important.

Again, in Quiet Leadership, we talk about the Organisation as Ecosystem: how we can see the whole landscape (from our own perspective), but how none of us alone can make the system healthy. It is only through individual action, amplified to scale, that the system improves.
