I’m up in London: last night was a big music gig, and today i’m heading home. It felt great to be with people who enjoyed the same music, the same experience as myself. It felt safe, comfortable, like i belonged.
Use your sixty seconds today to consider how you feel as you turn up to work: do you feel safe, do you feel that you belong?
And what is your responsibility as a Social Leader to others - to help them to belong - to welcome everybody - to gauge the temperature of the system?

We talk about how everyone should ‘be themselves’, but not all ‘selves’ may feel welcome in the same space - so are we really building ‘one’ Organisations, or rather a ‘tribe of tribes’ - connected, yet unique and distinct groups, who nonetheless can come together to perform?
