I’m working on ‘These Are Me: the identity project’ this week, writing up the first interviews and trying to figure out how i will share this work.
It’s already been fascinating, and i’ve barely started! The stories shared have been in depth and complex, and i think i want to build out a layer of analysis and reflection around them.
I cannot yet say how, but i feel that this work will prove valuable for our exploration of leadership, as well as broader questions of culture, learning, and change.
Use your sixty seconds today to consider the ‘self’ that you are today: would it be familiar to your ‘self’ of the past? From five years ago? Ten years? And how will your future ‘self’ see this version?
It’s odd but we tend to feel that we are consistent and fixed in our identity, and yet people describe those identities as fluid over time.
