Day #236

Self

0:00
-0:55

When you ask people to look back at themselves in their past, they typically describe that legacy version of ‘self’ as being different. We do not have much difficulty in seeing the ways that we have changed.

And yet we are not always that good at perceiving the need for change as we look ahead.

We tend to fall to the delusion that we are already, currently, the best version of our ‘self’.

Perhaps because we have little space to visualise or explore what that future self may look like?

Or perhaps because we are punished for a lack of strength today?

Whatever the reason, we should ask if we find leadership to be a fixed or fluid strength, and whether we can see a way forward.

Use your sixty seconds today to consider your own journey - how much have you changed in the past - and do you believe you will change so much going forwards?
