Social Leadership Daily is a space for practitioners: to be ‘in practice’. But what does this mean?
I guess that being ‘in practice’ can, in some ways, be determined by absence: it means that we have claimed a permission not to be endlessly ‘performing’.
Rather, by being in this space you have claimed sixty seconds a day to reflect - to explore - to be curious - to ask ‘what if’, or ‘why not’.
Sixty seconds is not much, but this is what being ‘in practice’ is not a one off event. Rather, it’s a way of being.
In my own work i adhere to a methodology of #WorkingOutLoud - where i share my evolving work as well as my ‘final’ work. This is a form of being ‘in practice’ - not constantly performing, but rather of constantly changing. The ways i think and act.
Use your sixty seconds today to consider what being ‘in practice’ means for you. And feel free to share as a comment if you like.
