Today is day #250 of Social Leadership Daily, a milestone i feel we should mark! This work is about leadership in the smallest of actions, so our celebrations must necessarily be small too.
I started this work as a quest for the simple: simple writing, simple action, with a practical focus. I’m always reminded of the foundational principle of Social Leadership: stop, look around, see what needs to change.
Over these first 250 days we have covered a wide range of ideas, from community building, to trust, to complexity and change. Some ideas we have come back to time and again: the smallest actions of gratitude, reflection, and the need to pause, to look anew.
Use your sixty seconds today to consider yourself within your system: how do you act, how do you feel?
Are you restless or content? Learning or simply busy?
Do you cast light into the system or simply try to weather the storm?
