I was at a funeral yesterday: someone who had lived a long and largely happy life, a life of many chapters. They’d been a jazz singer in the sixties, successful, in London, and then on to acting, raising a family, and through different chapters. We saw some of the photos of them performing, just being, changing.
So today we are being slightly more reflective than usual.
