Action Day

Through our journey into Social Leadership, it’s important to balance ‘reflection’, ‘exploration’ and ‘action’, so with that in mind, today is an action day.

Use your sixty seconds today to do something that represents your values.

Maybe that’s easy: perhaps an offer of help, or an email of gratitude. Maybe you could argue that everything you do reflects your values?

Or maybe it will require you to consider what your values actually are - and what relationship they have to your action. Does you action sometimes oppose, or lie next to, your values?

Or you could just do something that ‘feels’ right, and trust intuition or instinct to guide you.

Intuitive leadership is perhaps where we often end up: which can be a good thing, because we tend to try to do things well, but can be a bad thing, because it causes us to repeat what we have always done before.
