As we were walking the other day, River started to skip and i mentioned that this was a good skill. He agreed, but pointed out that he was not ‘skipping’, but rather had invented a new type of jump.
Impressed that he had found a way to jump that no human had before, i asked him how he came up with it.
“I found it in my head, Papa, and then i did it”
Well: i figure that’s as good a description of imagination as i’ll find on a Monday morning!
