Day #381 - What do you Bring?

Into each space

I’m in London this week for a conference, which means a few nights in a hotel. It’s perfectly pleasant, but not home.

This is a transitory space: nobody lives here, everyone is passing through. The physical landscape is a canvas upon which stories are written, then erased. Over and over again.

All that we find here, beyond the generic decor and wipe clean surfaces, is what we bring.

Use your sixty seconds today to consider this: what do you bring to a space?

Is it your welcome, your wit, or your wisdom? Do you create space, share stories, or simply hangout? Do you drive and direct, marshall and maintain, or share and serve? Or something else?

Consider yourself today in the context of your space, and what you bring or put into it.
