A think i never expected about having children was that i am so much more aware of the seasons.
I’m unclear why this is: i have always lived an outdoor life, and yet these last three years i have felt more attuned to the variations of each day, and the smallest changes.
Perhaps it’s because i am now a guide: the way we visit the orchard to pick the apples, to see them fall and rot, to see the blossom and new buds, and now to watch the apples swell again.
Use your sixty seconds today to consider the things that you watch over time, and how they change.
Maybe it’s your own family, or friends, or your community. Perhaps it’s an Organisation you work for, or a team you are part of. Maybe it’s your garden, or yourself.
Use this thought to position yourself within the flow of things, and to note if that comforts you, alarms you, or something else!
