Today is an Action Day. Social Leadership is an act of being ‘in practice’, and hence we periodically walk away from our phones or laptops to take action.
You could use your time:
To say ‘thank you’, and explain why you are grateful
To give something away - an opportunity, argument or simply some time or space
To pick something up, tidy it away, or somehow declutter. This may be a piece of rubbish, or an idea, perception, or judgement that is cluttering your culture.
To listen, especially in a new space.
Social Leadership is not a destination, but a journey, that moves between the safety of our communities, and out into the spaces that separate them.
