Sometimes it can be best to do nothing, but it’s not a trait we tend to reward.
We can imagine that our input will be valuable, that all problems can be fixed, or that many hands make light work. And indeed sometimes they do.
But at other times, we need to live with things, live within them, or give people space to make peace with different truths.
