Last week we focussed simply on kindness.
Has it changed you?
In the Identity Project work, most people describe that they ‘are not the person that they used to be’. If pushed, they say the ‘old’ person was from 3-5 years previously. Sometimes people say that their ‘self’ from ten years ago was almost unrecognisable (except most people say that ‘threads’ remain. Constants that don’t shift through their life).
Use your sixty seconds today to consider change at the smallest scale: did you have a new thought last week, a new habit. Did you do something ‘out of the ordinary’, or more deliberately than usual.
Have you changed? And can you see or feel it?
It doesn’t matter if you haven’t: really this is a chance to reflect on how much our change is left to chance, or whether part of it sits in our deliberate practice.
