Our Organisations sit within a broader social ecosystem: the physical locations, the networks of knowledge, the cleaners and caterers, our communities.

Use your sixty seconds today to consider how your leadership operates beyond the formal walls of the company.

Do your actions echo simply within the walls, or beyond them?

Do your actions create opportunity or shadow?

You may consider this in terms of your own actions, or the impacts of your organisation globally.

Does your leadership impact local communities in other parts of the world.

Indeed: should it impact them more?

Increasingly we see organisations paying attention to the ways that they are ‘local’ - should they be isolated and separate, squatting in downtown fortresses, or should they connect.

Should they ever invite the ‘outside’ in, or take the ‘inside’ out - and not just by sitting in the local coffee shop.
