Yesterday i wrote this on the blog:
“This is a model of humble leadership where there is no hero, but rather a collective capability. A model for leaders in service of community, but also connected to structure. At the intersection.”
I was writing more generally about leadership, and how we create the spaces and systems in which we develop it.
Use your sixty seconds today to consider that notion of ‘collective capability’. What do you bring, and what do you look for in others?
And how would you know what was missing?
Part of collective capability is collective accountability: a willingness to pick up our share of responsibility as well as reward.
Humility is the act of reflection through our own, and other, perspectives. To see where our gaps and shadows lie.
