I love my Polaroid camera: i bought it in San Francisco when i was working there i think back in 2012 on a whim. I found a place that sold second hand cameras, and the chap in the shop pulled open a drawer full of them. $20 each. Piled high.
I carry it most places i travel, despite the fact it is bulky and inconvenient. Because i love the lo-fi feel of the photos, and the immediacy of it. Digital kicks from analogue tech.
Polaroids tell me what i saw at the time. But a polaroid comes out looking old. The colours are colours of yesterday.
