On Friday I had to admit that I forgot to write this. Today I did not forget, but I’ve simply been overwhelmed.
Frustratingly my first tasks of the day proved challenging, and everything else fell apart, and then I’ve spent most of the time fretting about being unproductive instead of actually just getting on with something.
I’m too busy to write the day off, but too frustrated to be effective.
So I’d better hide that from you, because aren't we supposed to be perfect?
Use your sixty seconds today to consider the expectations of perfection in your practice, and what you expect of others.
I’m unclear if we become more perfect, or simply better at hiding our imperfections.
