Iām using our space today to invite you to join me for the prototype of a new free programme, āSafety and Shelterā, which will launch in May.
In our new geopolitical context I am having conversations with people most days who are navigating the change: some celebrating what it gives them, others navigating things that they have lost, including aspects of their identity, belonging, or hope.
I wanted to create a space to explore this: not a political space, but a community one, for two reasons.
Firstly, for people to have a space where they can share what they have lost, what hope they hold (or need), how they are resilient, and finally, a space to catch their breath.
Secondly, to consider our role as Social Leaders: to lead for everyone, and to include the ways we create safety, or provide shelter, when it is needed.
This will be a space for dialogue, not dominance, and everyone is welcome.
The two dates released so far are in the evening in the UK, to make it more broadly available in the US, but I will schedule further dates if there is sufficient interest.
You can read more, or sign up, here. This work takes place in the Landscape of Quiet Leadership, which some of you will already know, so if you enjoyed that work, you will recognise the approach here (and if you have not, then check out the new Quiet Leadership dates too!).
