Shelter and Imposition

I stayed out in a beautiful Somerset village last night, in an old stone building, and was struck by the silence.

It’s quiet where i live, but this was different. And strangely i slept badly because the ‘background’ was different.

Silence is interesting: it may be imposed, or may be a place of shelter.
