It’s the first camping trip of the year, so I’m sorting out the gear and packing up the trailer. At the end of last season, I cleaned everything up, and sorted it out, but never quite got around to putting everything exactly in the right place.
At the time, it was just another odd job: I knew where everything was, and there was a lot going on.
So today, inevitably, as every year, I have spent ages searching for the one bracket, socket, or piece of gear that I need, which is definitely not on the robust shelf, or clever place, where it is supposed to live.
The lesson is one I consistently fail to learn: things don’t just look after themselves.
Use your sixty seconds today to consider this: what do you look after?
And are you always good at it?
I know I’m late today: it’s because of the lost things.
