The first strawberries were ripe today. I know this to be true, because as I sat in my office, I saw the squirrel perched on the wall nearby, relishing the first of our crop.
So it’s goes: we share this space with our garden friends, and it’s a good lesson for the children, to recognise that things exist in balance, and that we cannot take more than our share.
