Today is an Action Day: whilst we are a Community in dialogue with our practice, we are not simply reflective. We regularly leave this email and laptop behind to take a step in the real world. And I realise I have been distracted so we have not had an Action Day for a while…
Use your sixty seconds today for the smallest of actions, in the most local of contexts, but through which you impact one person.
It could be a simple word, or act, of gratitude, or an offer of help or support.
It could be as simple as creating a space to listen, or a space to demonstrate your support (which could be as simple as a ‘like’ for a vulnerable message shared openly).
It could be to create a small space: if you are senior, for someone junior. Or for someone who works in a different context (key time, part time, with young family, or holding a care role). Simple creating a small space for them to breathe.
Wherever you take action, Hold it in your practice: for all the big things that we do, the smallest ones can hold some of the greatest value.
