I had a solid day yesterday, progressing the Planetary Philosophy work, which is starting to look ever closer to being finished.
I’m really at a transition: I’ve submitted my doctoral thesis, and almost completed the Planetary book, both of which were a big focus through last year and early this one. And once both these things are properly out of the way, I will be able to move onto completing the Learning Science (40 Landmarks) work, and dive into a new Social Leadership book.
Transitions are exciting, liberating, and sometimes hard. It’s not just the physical time in front of a keyboard, but also mentally the process of putting a book to print, and of preparing myself to dive into something new, is challenging.
Use your sixty seconds today to consider where the transition points are in your work.
For me it’s relatively simple, as my work is measured out in books, projects, and events, all of which are conveniently limited in scope.
Whilst sometimes hard, transitions are important for us: through them we measure our growth, achievement, and momentum.
