Learning is not always fun. Indeed, the provocation to learn may stem from pain, frustration, or discomfort. These things are unavoidable: how we react to them may be what counts.
In the moment we can be caught up in the situation: our ability to step out and look down may be an important part of our practice. But it’s hard when we are in that very situation!
Use your sixty seconds today to consider your behaviours when you are ‘caught up in a situation’ - for me, i find myself becoming compulsive, i often try to ‘fix’ things, and i find that i think about those difficult things into the evening or even wake up in the night.
As a Social Leader we do not act in isolation, but rather in the arms of a Community: sometimes that Community may help us to do this thinking, and sometimes our role is to support others.

By subscribing to this newsletter you are part of an emerging community of over 260 Social Leaders, working to develop their practice.
