Thank you for sharing that. My husband says that carrot cake is one of his five a day......

I spoke to someone today and asked how her Mum was. She was a stranger that I had not met before, but earlier in the day, she'd said that she'd have to keep her phone on during the training session because her Mum wasn't well.

At the end of the conversation she said 'thanks for asking'.

And that struck me. Lots of questions were flying around my mind.... why wouldn't I have asked since I had heard about her worries? Did other people not bother showing concern about her worries? How heavy was this worry weighing on this person today?

I'm glad I asked the question and started the conversation
