What I want to be when I grow up? You are right about how our identity changes and how the answer to this develops. When I was in my teens I was going to be a defense attorney and fight for those that couldn't. Then I got practical and needed a job so I trained to be a CPA and realized during the journey that I didn't really like accounting, but I was skilled at it. I then settled into a career path of project management and implementation and decided I wanted to go into politics when I retired. Now that I am in the end of my career journey, I find I only want to be a better version of myself and be a good example for my family and my community. Your son figured it all out!
