This is day #685 of our Social Leadership Daily Community: in that time I’ve written 101,952 words in this space (which is about the same length as Gulliver’s Travels), and recorded somewhere in the region of 11 hours of video (which is about the length of the Lord of the Rings film franchise. Extended editions…).
But it’s all been done one step at a time.
I have to admit that I do not always hit my target of sixty seconds a day, and around 200 words. But then again, ‘imperfection’ in our leadership is one of the things that we explore.
I fed the entire text to Google’s NotebookLM, which provided me with the following short summary:
“Social Leadership Daily" is a continuous exploration of what it means to lead through influence, connection, and self-awareness. Its primary function is to prompt reflection and action, encouraging subscribers to be more conscious of their roles in their communities and systems, and to build social authority rooted in reputation, trust, and intentional action. The newsletter provides a unique perspective on leadership, emphasising the importance of humility, community, and continuous learning”
This is the last post of the year, as I will take off two weeks for Christmas. I like that the summary above talks about reflection, and action. We are a community in reflective practice. In a dialogue with our practice. Thinking, and doing.
Use your sixty seconds today to reflect on why you are here, and to celebrate this engagement in your own practice.
Thank you all for your support through this year, which has been challenging at times!
