Day #481 - Horizons

I've been talking to River about the horizon, what that means, teaching him that word.

Because when we cycle in at this time of year along the beach, we can see when we get down to the water's edge, the sun is still under the horizon, just peeking above it.

But by the time we leave the beach, it's fully above it.

He can't see it moving, but every minute or two he'll say, Papa, it's higher up, I can see more of it.

It moves slowly and yet over that short ride we can see it come the whole way above the horizon.

So some things change but you kind of can't see the movement and I want to use that for our reflection today.

Use your 60 seconds to think about yourself, about the movement within yourself.

Maybe you don't feel it day-to-day or week-to-week but when have you spotted yourself in a different place along your journey?
