I spent time yesterday writing about boundaries, and the ‘self as trespasser’. It ties into the idea of leadership as ‘motion’, and of leadership at the intersection of systems.
This is a reflection on where we belong, where we visit, and where we feel welcome. It’s about the things that cross boundaries: stories, ideas, refugees, fear.
The question we can ask ourselves is where our leadership is held, and where our responsibility lies: is it just within our spaces of belonging and comfort, or more widely?
Use your sixty seconds today to consider this: what have you learnt through travel to somewhere different?
And how far did you have to travel to find that difference? To a different continent, or just to a different corner of the office?
We’ve had some new people joining this community over the last week: you are very welcome here. A community in dialogue with it’s practice.
If you enjoy this work, please consider sharing it.
