Tomorrow i guide a group on the London Dereliction Walk: exploring ‘boundaries’, ‘voice’ and ‘shadows’. It’s experimental work and i never know how it will turn out, as we spend the day in motion, in conversation, in ideas.
I love this uncertainty. It liberates me to think differently, but also brings the risk that things will go badly wrong. I may get lost - probably not in ‘space’, but possibly in ‘ideas’.
Use your sixty seconds today to consider where you find uncertainty, and what you do with it.
Also: pause to consider why you are here. This is not a taught space. But a space to be in dialogue with our practice.
I hope a space of humility: and togetherness. Even though we are far apart. Perhaps recognise your intention of being here - the restlessness with where you stand, and a willingness to look ahead.
