We spend our kindness to reinforce social connections, and in some sense as a way of validating our sense of ‘self’.
Often we wish to be seen as kind as we do, of course, view ‘kind’ as ‘good’.
Consider how you are kind: where, when, and to whom.
Use your sixty seconds today to consider whether everyone has the same type of access to kindness.
Is it possible that it’s a luxury, afforded to those with the time and energy to participate. Or does everyone experience small acts of kindness through their day?
Perhaps consider if there is somewhere you could be kind today, somewhere new.
This work is about leadership in the smallest of actions. Not changing the world, except in the sense that as we all change the local, the global will take care of itself.
