We look at the world through a lens. Our education, culture, experience, and individual psychology create it. And sometimes we forget that it’s even there.
It’s powerful to be reminded, and also to consider if we can change it. Perhaps that we can carry a range of different lenses to use in different contexts.
This is an analytic ability: to look at a situation through different lenses is to move around the landscape to gain a different perspective.
